Baoshan Travel Guide

Baoshan is a city situated in the Western Yunnan province of the People’s Republic of China. It is the second-biggest metropolitan area of western Yunnan, bordered by Burma in the south and northwest. There are around 2.5 million inhabitants from around the world. It is about 500 kilometers from Kunming, which is the capital city of Yunnan Province. It covers the area of 19,637 square kilometers. If you want to spend a great time in Baoshan, then you should visit between March to May or October to November because it is the ideal weather in Baoshan to explore different areas or to relax. The weather will be soft and pleasant. There is a lot of rainfall in summer so the humidity is high in summer and winters of Baoshan are usually dry. Wofo Temple Baoshan has many different Temples and Wofo Temple is one of them. Wofo means Sleeping Buddha because it comprises of a bronze statue of Sleeping Buddha. The architecture of Wofo Temple is mesmerizing; it easily grabs anyone’s attention. It consists of 4 halls and the halls are made with beautiful architectural design and beautiful natural stone cave.
